Software Training Projects

If you require software trainers for extended or long term Microsoft software training course rollouts, we can provide a team of dedicated Microsoft trainers or individual trainers to undertake the project for any of the software applications that we cover, including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) and also MS Project, MS Visio, MS SharePoint, Expression Web and more. For software packages other than Microsoft, please enquire as we will probably be able to help.

This cost-effective solution for larger training requirements can be conducted at your own premises, providing you have adequate training facilities, or we can offer special deals for bulk bookings for closed courses at public venues covering over 700 course titles.

All of our Microsoft trainers are highly experienced and qualified in their field and are able to attend your site to cover multiple simultaneous training sessions, and extended training course projects whether the duration is for a week, a month or for six months.

For larger software training rollouts and projects conducted at your premises, a training co-ordinator or project manager can be provided where required.

A 30% deposit is required to secure a booking for onsite training projects and rollouts, with the balance either payable on completion or, for longer projects, rolling on a weekly basis. Bulk booking training courses at public venues are payable in advance.

We can also follow up on your learning requirements, providing floorwalkers to help delegates with remaining issues or difficulties following their training sessions, or provide additional training workshops and refresher training courses.

Let us know what computing skills you are interested in and what level of technical training is required and we can even tailor our software training packages to fit your specific business needs. One-to-one onsite training packages are available for only £300 (plus VAT) per day.

Cost-effective small group teaching

For small group teaching of up to ten people we offer a cost-effective payment model available for one day training courses aimed at charities, small to medium-sized businesses and organisations.

The first person is charged at the standard one-to-one day rate which for most courses is £300.00 plus VAT, the second person at £75.00 plus VAT and everyone one there after at £50.00 plus VAT for up to ten delegates in total. This means that we can now offer a day's training for a group of five people for only £525.00 plus VAT. (small surcharges may apply for printing of teaching materials and additional travel.)

Please note that this applies only to one day courses where students are being taught together on client premises, on the same version of the software, and where all students are at similar competency levels.

Training Facilities

For groups of five and above, we can organise a fully-equiped training suite for you close to Leeds city centre, or in the city of your choice, and at a reasonable price for full and half days. Facilities include, networked PCs, overhead projector, high-speed internet access and refreshments. If you would like to hire a training suite for your training sessions, please let us know in good time and we can make arrangements. All training rooms are compliant with the Disability Discrimination Act.

Training for individuals and small groups is usually delivered on site at client premises, so you will need to be able to provide a small computer suite, cluster or training area where we can work. Trainees should also come equipped with writing materials and stationery as these are not provided.

Q: Why do we offer one-to-one training courses?

A: Providing one-to-one training means that we can devote our attention specifically to you and the pace you want to learn at. You get the full and undivided attention of our dedicated trainers throughout the duration of the course, allowing then to identify and nurture your strongest competencies and to identify and help you to overcome areas where you are having difficulty.

Q: Do you cater for groups of trainees?

A: Yes, we can cater for groups and training can either take place on your premises or at a training suite in a city of your choice.

Q: Why do you offer bespoke/tailored training courses rather than off-the-shelf training courses?

A: While we do provide off-the-shelf training courses, we also think it is important to offer you the opportunity to focus on the specific skills you want to learn. Many IT training companies take a one-size fits all approach to software training and book you in as part of a group on a pre-diarised day to learn a generic syllabus. Our approach to training is to allow you to specify areas of the software that you want to concentrate upon, and then tailor your training course accordingly. This gives us the flexibility to respond to your specific business needs. This also allows us to train you on the exact version of the software that you use in the workplace.
