Contract Microsoft Software Trainers - Leeds, West Yorkshire

We presently require 2 Ad Hoc Microsoft software trainers to join our expanding team of trainers in Leeds. This will be on a contract basis.

Job Requirements

• MCT (Microsoft Certified Trainer)
• At least 3 years experience teaching Microsoft Packages
• At least 3 years experience writing training materials for Microsoft Packages
• Preferably educated to degree level
• Initiative to work independantly and ideally to contribute to the expansion of the existing training portfolio
• flexibility to teach both higher level Microsoft courses such as MS SharePoint, MS Project and so forth, as well as more general ICT training including Microsoft Office courses (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook and MS Access) prefered
• Most courses are taught on client premises and there are occasions when travel might be required so a clean driving license would be advantageous
• Must work through LTD or an umbrella company

Contract Linux Software Trainers - Leeds, West Yorkshire

We presently require 2 experienced Linux software trainers to join our expanding team of trainers in Leeds. This will be on a contract basis.

Job Requirements

• RHCT (Red Hat Certified Technician)/ RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer)
• At least 3 years experience teaching Linux Packages
• At least 3 years experience writing training materials for Linux Packages
• Preferably educated to degree level
• Solid experience with a range of Unix operating systems including RedHat, Ubuntu, Debian, Gentoo and their derivatives
• Initiative to work independantly and ideally to contribute to the expansion of the existing training portfolio
• Preferred: flexibility to teach both higher level Linux courses such as Linux System Administration, Network Configuration, Linux Server Management, Samba and Kerberos and also more general Linux beginners courses for the Linux Environment (KDE, Gnome etc) and common Linux software such as OpenOffice (Writer, Calc, Impress, etc).
• Most courses are taught in and around Leeds City centre, however, there are occasions when travel might be required and a full driving license would be advantageous
• Must work through LTD or an umbrella company

Contract Web Design Trainer - Leeds, West Yorkshire

We presently require an experienced Web Design and Web Technologies Trainer to join our expanding team of trainers in Leeds. This will be on a contract basis.

Job Requirements

For this role we are not particularly interested in experience with packages such as Photoshop, FrontPage or Dreamweaver. Rather we are looking for someone who can teach the underlying concepts of web design by handcoding HTML directly into a text editor.

• At least 6 years web design experience
• At least 4 years experience writing training materials for web design
• A thorough understanding of W3C and WAI coding practices.
• Knowledge of any of the following technologies would be advantageous: Apache, IIS, XSLT, XML Schemas, XPath, PHP, MySQL, Dublin Core, Javascript, ASP
• Initiative to work independantly and ideally to contribute to the expansion of the existing training portfolio
• Preferably educated to degree level
• Most courses are taught in and around Leeds City centre, however, there are occasions when travel might be required and a full driving license would be advantageous
• Must work through LTD or an umbrella company

• At least 5 years experience using PHP/MYSQL in a live environment
• At least 3 years experience writing training materials for PHP/MySQL
• Preferably educated to degree level
