1. Printing: all our laser printers remain switched off for over 95% of the time. This saves energy and paper.
   
   
2. Invoicing: All of our invoices are submitted by electronic email which saves paper and energy.
   
   
3. Training: we always try to place our software trainers with the companies closest to their home or site location which saves fuel and reduces carbon emissions.
   
   
4. Computer Hardware: All our computers and monitors are switched off at the end of the day which saves energy.
   
   
5. Fax: We use an electronic facsimile rather than fax hardware which saves paper and energy.
   
   
6. Advertising and marketing: all of our marketing is done online, which means no paper is wasted on hardcopy advertising and energy intensive outbound sales campaigns are not required. Moreover, we provide search engine marketing which enables our customers to do the same.
   
   
7. Recycling: All our decommissioned computer hardware is recycled.
   
   
8. Sales: over 60% of our prospects decide to procure our services via email conversations and the remainder via telephone. We estimate that less than 1% of our prospective customers require a sales visit to their premises before making the decision, which means a substantial saving on energy and carbon emissions.
   
   
9. Photocopying: We use no photocopying whatsoever, which saves paper and energy.
   
   
10. Franking: we use no franking, since we have very little need for conventional post.
    
    
11. Backup: we use an incremental, off-site back up solution which means that data is backed up electronically over the Internet, rather than by tape drive which eliminates the carbon footprint entailed in using tape hardware and travelling offsite.
    
    
12. Stationery: our commitment to electronic business communication means that we consume the absolute bare minimum of business stationery; this includes brochures and business cards, packaging materials, paper, envelopes, pens, paper clips, staplers and staples and much else.
